NORTH CAROLINA STATE YOUTH OF THE YEAR HONOR
The Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County will host the North Carolina State Youth of the Year competition on Friday, April 13 and Saturday 14, 2012. Twenty-eight exceptional teen members from clubs across North Carolina will travel to Henderson County on this weekend to compete for the state Youth of the Year title in addition to a $5,000 college scholarship. The newly named North Carolina Youth of the Year winner will move on to the regional competition to vie for the distinction of being one of five regional winners across the country.
